Daniel Cossi represented Brazil at the eSports International Regulatory Congress

WESCO PAMESCO, AE-SF official guest, Daniel Cossi actively participated in the eSports International Regulatory Congress held in Barcelona. He was speaker of a keynote lecture, moderated a panel discussion, and was part of one round table and other four panels where central topics of the activity were discussed. The event was attended by dozens of eSports officials, private companies and athletes from various countries.

Daniel Cossi's keynote address was ‘Olympism, Regulation and Standardization’. He then moderated the ‘Legacy of Traditional Sports on eSports’ panel. In addition, the Brazilian expert also participated in the panels ‘Legal Relations of Athletes’, ‘Teams and Authorities’; ‘eSports Integrity Protection’; ‘International Partnerships between eSports Regulatory Entities and eSports Integrity in the World.’

Daniel Cosssi's last presentation at the eSports International Regulatory Congress was the Roundtable on ‘eSports Recognition and Regulation in the World.’

The event brought together dozens of eSports officials, private companies and athletes from various countries. A moment of quality, content and professionalism among those involved in the eSports world.

Daniel Cossi is president and founder of CBDEL - Brazilian Confederation of Electronic Sports, entity responsible for the administration of electronic sports (eSports) in Brazil. He is also a businessman in culture, eSports and technology. His most significant works are those related to The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogy film franchise, working as a consultant for New Line Cinema and Warner Bros., and also creator of all TLofRs licensed film products.

Cossi also participated in the drafting of a national and state bill to promote and make eSports a nationally recognized and regulated sports category. He is also the founder of the Brazilian Tolkien Society and has been the CEO of GNConsulting for over 20 years.

CBDEL has the eSports athlete as its main focus, creating regulations and operating institutional electronic sports in all its categories. The mission of the Confederation is to make eSports the broadest category of sport, practice and social and economic return for athletes and practitioners nationally and internationally.
