One of the world's leading online betting groups

Bet365 meets at the Economy Ministry aiming to strongly enter in Brazil

Bet365, one of the world's leading online gambling groups with more than 22 million customers in nearly 200 countries, wants to enter the Brazilian market after regulation. Thus, the company starts moving its chips. Martin Redman, its International Development Manager, meets today at the Economy Ministry with Alexandre Manoel, SECAP Secretary. Bet365 ranks 19th in the famous Alexa ranking of websites most visited by Brazilians.

The audience in Brasilia will also be attended by Adhemar Ranciaro Neto (General Coordinator of SECAP Lottery Regulation) and Itamar de Carvalho Pereira (SECAP Technician).

The Bet365 group employs over 3,000 people and is the largest private employer in the city of Stoke-on-Trent, England. For sports betting, Bet365 is licensed by the Government of Gibraltar (license number: RGL 075) and regulated by Commissioner Gibraltar Gambling.

The site score is high in all categories including competitive odds, huge range of sports and markets, live In-Play betting, customer service and generous betting available. The site is one of the best known of Brazilian gamblers and is among the fastest in the industry. They offer sports betting, poker, casino, games and bingo, as well as video streams related to sporting events. In addition, Bet365 also offers an online learning service.

Bet365 can now claim the title of the world's largest bookmaker. They differ from many of the other major global brands in that they are privately owned, almost exclusively owned by the Coates family, which are based in Stoke-on-Trent. President Peter Coates founded the company in 1974, although day-to-day operations are now controlled by COO Denise Coates and CEO John Coates (Peter's son and daughter).

During the 2010 eGaming Review Operator Awards, organized by eGaming Review, Bet365 won the "Operator of the Year" award. It also ranked third on the Sunday Times Profit Track 100 leaderboard, which ranks UK private companies based on the rate of earnings growth. Also, Bet365 has been ranked as one of the fastest growing private technology, media and telecommunications companies in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 leaderboard.

The eGaming Review magazine ranked Bet365 as the number one internet gaming company in 2010, 2011 and 2012 as part of its annual list called Power 50, which lists the fifty most influential companies in the online gaming industry. Denise Coates, founder and joint CEO of bet365, received a CBE on the 2012 Queen of England's new list of honors in recognition of her services to the community and businesses. In February 2013, Denise Coates was named one of the 100 most powerful women in the UK by BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour.
