The first edition of the Northeast Football Conference will debate the professionalization of the sport in the region, its difficulties and the opportunities of the current scenario. There will be two days, November 7 and 8, of lectures, rounds of debates, cases and awards at Jcpm, in Recife, Pernambuco.
Sports betting is becoming a reality in this area and in whole Brazil, with companies sponsoring important teams, so the Confut Nordeste organization believes in the inclusion of this topic in the subjects covered during the programming. “The regular entry of the segment into the national scene has a consistent impact on club revenues. There are a number of sports betting clubs and companies running well-worked, mutual-return projects,” explains the director of the event, Arthur Lobo, in an interview with Games Magazine Brasil.
“Currently, the top 6 clubs in the region have bookmakers as sponsors. The trend is for investments from these firms to grow exponentially in 2020,” he says. Aligned with this current theme, one of the rounds of debate will gather Ricardo Veloso, Chief Financial Officer of Sport Recife, and Carlos Agaki, partner of BDO Brazil, discussing about sports betting on November 7, from 12am to 1pm.
