Roberto Carlos will also be available during the first day of the conference at the LUCKY.io booth, located in the heart of the event. There will be selected times for fans to meet and take pictures with the star.
LUCKY.io will also run a lottery for exclusive items which all attendees will be able to participate in, free of charge. The aim is to give as many people as possible the opportunity to participate in the innovative blockchain technology that has taken the Maltese islands by storm.
The online blockchain-based casino first brought the Brazilian legend to the island back in September; in co-operation with Malta Football Association and children’s cancer charity Puttino Cares.
The charitable initiative was held at Marsa football ground as part of a weekend-long football marathon, which aimed to raise awareness for Puttino Care’s new London accommodation programme. It aims to give a home to more patients that undergo cancer treatment in the UK when they have to travel from Malta for specialist care.
Roberto Carlos spoke directly to the children, who attended the press conference. “Love has no limit and when you do what you love, magic is very real. When you do what you love doing, you don’t need to force it,” he said before heading to the football ground with the kids for a kick-around.”
“We want to prove that the world is not a zero-sum game where there are winners and losers,” said Ms Kensborn, head of PR at LUCKY.io during the press conference, referring to blockchain technology changing the way businesses operate,” he added.
Roberto Carlos also stressed the importance of social impact during his last visit telling the crowd that “this is something I really enjoy doing and it is very important for everyone to do what they can to make a difference”.
