“Our goal is to show the city as a complete destination for your event. This includes shopping, food and, of course, the event itself,” said Chris Meyer, Global Sales Vice President of the city's tourism agency.
Coming to Brazil, according to Meyer, shows the importance of the market to the destination. “We have an average of 180,850 thousand Brazilian visitors from the business sector. With the promotion of events from companies in the country, however, this number could be even higher,” said the executive.
So far, according to the tourism agency, Brazil is the fifth major emitter of corporate visitors to the city.
General
Broadly speaking, the corporate events industry is a real asset to Las Vegas. In all, there are 24,000 events per year, 21 of which are offered by organizers. In addition, there were over 6.5 million corporate visitors in 2018, representing US$ 10.5 billion in event-only revenue.
Companies attending the event (CES, Emerald Expositions, Nab Show, NAHB, Shot Show and Sema Show), according to Meyer, account for US$ 1.2 billion of the results obtained with events at the destination.
