2nd Sports Machine Forum discusses the betting market with Luiz Felipe Maia

The challenges of Brazil's sports industry for 2020 will be highlighted at the 2nd Sports Machine Forum, which will be held today at the Grand Hotel Mercure, in São Paulo. Among them, there will be a debate about the betting market with the participation of expert Luiz Felipe Maia, partner of FYMSA Advogados, along with Ian Cook, Kroll's Director of Intelligence and Investigations, and Adalberto Leister Filho, content director and columnist of Máquina do Esporte website.

The 2nd Sports Machine Forum will point out trends for the market in 2020. The event will consist of four panel discussions and four lectures: women's football, the sports betting market, the professionalization of eSports and consumer engagement. Entitled to the presence of the leaders of each of these industries.

The “Debate: How to Prepare for the Gambling Market” will be from 10.50 am to 12 pm with expert Luiz Felipe Maia, partner of FYMSA lawyers; Ian Cook, Kroll's Intelligence and Investigations Director; and Adalberto Leister Filho, Content Director and columnist of the Máquina do Esporte website as panel speakers.

Luiz Felipe Maia is founding partner of the law firm Franco, Yoshiyasu, Maia, Simões and D'Alessio Advogados and head of gaming, internet and technology team. He has over 18 years of professional experience involving business structuring in Brazil. He holds a law degree from USP and a master’s degree in law from UFPE. He is a certified negotiator and mediator from the Harvard Negotiation Program, and a professor of negotiation.

The expert received the Brazilian Gaming Law Lawyer of the Year Award from Corporate INTL during the ICE LONDON 2019 edition and several international awards in recognition of his role as a gaming and technology lawyer in Brazil. He was selected by the international publication Lawyer Monthly among the top 100 lawyers in the country. He has lectured at ICE London, IE - Business School Institute in Madrid, Juegos Miami, IMGL San Diego and EiG Totally Gaming Barcelona.

The Forum can be viewed by streaming by those unable to attend the event. A deal with TV NSports will make it possible to broadcast the forum live via a pay-per-view system. The cost is R$ 99 (US$ 23.5) for the morning or afternoon sections of the event, and R$ 149 (US$ 35.5) to watch the broadcast of all scheduled debates and lectures.
