With the victory over River Plate in Lima, Flamengo won the Libertadores Cup again after 38 years and yesterday also the 2019 Brasileiro championship. The company has been a red-black partner since July of this year, when it signed a contract to sponsor only digital media. The agreement between Sportsbet.io and Flamengo, agreed for two years, provides for the payment of R$ 7 million (US$ 1.65m) to the ‘Rubro-Negro’ team per season. The amount will be paid in four installments by the sports betting company, as follows: In 2020, there will be a variable of US$ 360k if Sportsbet.io reaches a total of 25,000 entries redirected by the club. In turn, in 2021, the amount increases to US$ 480k under the same conditions of the previous year.

Last week, the brand took advantage of Libertadores' decision to convince Flamengo’s fan to bet within its platform. The company has announced that it would pay 11 times the amount invested on the red-black team victory over Argentina’s River Plate. In numbers, if a gambler bet R$ 10 (US$ 2.4) on a guess and hits, he would pocket R$ 110 (US$ 26.2). After Flamengo’s victory, Sportsbet.io started paying the promised prizes.
