While the reform of the Tablada racetrack is not over, the Pelotas Jockey Club has been dedicated to modernizing sports management and one of the main investments was the creation of a new and modern betting system. Developed by the local company Create Pensamentos Online, the new program puts the club at the forefront of electronic bookmaking in Brazil.
One of the main merits of the system is to ensure comfort, security, transparency and ease for players who can play both at the racetrack and at home - through the website - and pay with debit or credit cards. The didactic visual language of the betting page makes it even easier for those who want to bet.
"For those at the racetrack, one of the changes will be the end of the queue to pay the prizes, as now all counters can receive and pay bets; another change will be the integration of the betting image with the live image of the horses, either in the paddock or on the track," says Nathan Vanier, president of the Pelotas Jockey Club.
Seven betting modalities will be available: winner, placé, exact, double, triple double, triple and another, still kept secret by the managers and which will be revealed at the launch of the new program.
Another technological leap is the interconnection with the live broadcast of the races as occurs in the great racetracks in the world. That is, those who watch on Youtube or on the website will see the dividends for each number in real time, integrating Jockey's windows and online bets. The possibility of placing bets on "totems" - similar to those in shopping malls for parking fees - is being studied for the future.

Developed over several months and many meetings between the team of Create and the Pelotas Jockey Club, the new system is also pioneer in the country because it can be linked to betting systems of any other sport. When Brazilian law permits football and other sports, the club is ready to enter this gigantic and lucrative market.
