Resorts Brasil holds meeting to discuss casino development in the country

The Brazilian Resorts Association (Resorts Brasil) held a meeting Tuesday (26) this week to discuss with members the positioning of the entity for the next two years. The new strategy aims to continue the commercial developments and expand the scope of action with the creation of new work and research groups. One of the issues that was focus of the debate was the development of casinos in the country.

These new initiatives will have as their main objective to work with other entities and the public authorities to improve the business environment, making resorts more competitive in the international context.

Two themes were the focus of the debate: casino development in Brazil and tax reform. From the meetng, two working groups were formed in order to deepen the theme and define a strategy of action of Resorts Brasil.

Labor issues have also emerged as vital in the context of resorts. Topics such as lack of manpower and qualification will be the focus of a third working group formed at the assembly.

Sérgio Souza, president of Resorts Brasil, believes that the meeting was very productive. “It is very important to meet with the associates, present our plan and, above all, listen to the main demands. That way we can set goals together and set priorities.”
