The XVII CIBELAE Congress is an international industry fair considered one of the most important and private in the region, not for its size or number of exhibitors, but for the great advantage that makes it unique and exclusive: the direct contact with the main referents of the exhibiting companies, and two days with guaranteed visits of 150 industry-leading businessmen, and decision-making executives across the Latin American region.
This new version of the exhibition allows the leading managers of the exhibiting companies to present their new products and services in first person, generating the main advantage of this new face-to-face business, an individual contact. Visitors will be able to access countless opportunities to interact and articulate business, make new contacts and build future relationships.
The fair will have six panels, one of them, on November 8, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, will have the Vice President of CAIXA Lotteries, Paulo Henrique Angelo Souza, representing Brazil in the roundtable of regulators. In the same panel will be Ricardo Gonçalves, from Portugal’s Jogos Santa Casa, and José Ortiz, President of Paraguay’s CONAJZAR. The moderator will be Urania Chaves Murillo, member of JPS Costa Rica.
The event is sponsored by GLI, Intralot, IGT, Scientific Games and Playtech, among others. Several companies have also opted to be present with a stand, such as bookmaker Betcris (booth 11) and GLI itself (booth 3).
Among the topics covered will be “Platforms and Modernization”, “Legal and Secure Betting” and “Security, New Channels and Betting Forms.”
Angelo Souza has a degree in Business Administration, an MBA in Business Administration and obtained a qualification in Financial Management of Capital Markets from the Institute of
New York Finance and a certification in the IBGC Director Course. He graduated in the Advanced Management Program of the Harvard University School of Business.
He joined CAIXA in 2000. From December 2016 to April 2019 he was Vice President of Internal Controls and Risk Management. Since then, he is Vice-President of Government Funds and Lotteries, being the representative of Caixa Lotteries before the Board of Directors of CIBELAE.
