Last Sunday (December 1st), congressman Paulo Eduardo Martins (PSC-PR) published in his official Twitter account a poll that asked: "What do you think about the legalization of casinos in Brazil?" With more than 25,000 entries, 72% of people voted for the "Yes. Play Who Wants" option, 15% on the "I Have Doubts" and only 13% on the "Against. It Generates Problems."
The post had over 1100 retweets and nearly 3000 likes. The comment with the most interactions was that of the user "O Corvo", which said: "In favor, especially if it is in the Northeast. It will help to develop the region."
The survey by Deputy André Fernandes (PSL-CE) had 4734 votes on the release of casinos in the country. 75% were favorable while only 25% were opposed. The post yielded 183 retweets and 463 likes.
In both, the favorable position exceeded 70% of the votes. Considering the two surveys, there were nearly 30,000 participants with an overwhelming result and totaled over 500 comments.
