Strong presence of Brazil’s Economy Ministry in the Online Gaming Summit of São Paulo

Fabio Augusto Luiz Pina, Undersecretary of Trade and Service Development at the Special Secretariat for Productivity, Employment and Competitiveness, and Alexandre Manoel Angelo da Silva, National Secretary for Planning, Energy and Lottery, will lead next Monday lectures during the opening of the OGS Brazil 2019 at the Allianz Park of Sao Paulo. They will talk about the economic perspectives of the Brazilian gambling market and the latest news about regulation of sports betting.

Next December 9th-10th, at the Allianz Parque arena, the city of São Paulo will host the main event focused on online gaming and sports betting: the Online Gaming Summit Brazil (OGS Brazil). As regulatory processes and public hearing period begin to listen to the market, the expectations of definitions drive the online gaming and sports betting industry. OGS Brazil organized by Clarion Events is the only event in the country that puts players ahead more than 300 professionals and authorities in the sector.

On Monday, from 9:15 am to 10:00 am, will take place the opening lecture “Gambling in Brazil: the economic outlook for this new market for the country” with topics such as “a new economic sector” and “a new job market” in charge of Fabio Augusto Luiz Pina. Then, from 10:00 am to 10.45 am, will be the turn of Alexandre Manoel Angelo da Silva with the lecture “The step-by-step of sports betting regulation” with themes such as “the voice of the market: the insights of public betting consultations”, “Increasing the competitive environment” and “Lotex Auction: the other missing step”.
