PMU Brasil ended ICE London 2019 with strong presence and satisfaction

PMU Brasil was present at ICE London 2019 where it participated with the French headquarters’ group. The company was represented by CEO Joseph Levy, Jaime Baranzano (CIO) and Fred Bastos (Commercial Director). Created in December 2015, the Brazilian subsidiary operates in the management of bets on horse racing and its promotion through points of sale, online platform and telephone, and the offer of national and international products for this network.

Recently, PMU Brasil completed 3 years of operation and celebrated with all its staff. The stage was one of the stables of its great partner, the Brazilian Jockey Club. It was a moment of relaxation, unity and celebration of the results obtained during this period, and also of energy renewal to face the challenges and achievements that will come in 2019. As an official sponsor of the Campeonato Carioca, the PMU Brasil team also attended the opening ceremony , in the Maracanã stadium.

PMU Brasil is a subsidiary of the French multinational PMU, the largest betting operator in Europe. Created in December 2015, the Brazilian subsidiary operates in the management of bets on horse racing and its promotion through points of sale, online platform and telephone, and the offer of national and international products for this network.

Currently, the company has a partnership with the Jockey Club Brasileiro, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), and with the Jockey Club of Paraná, in Curitiba (PR). The deal aims to broaden the market for horse betting, enhance the image of the sport, strengthen the touristic entities and, with this, develop the entire productive chain of the sector.

The company has established important partnerships with international racetracks such as Aqueduct, Belmont Park, Saratoga and Gulfstream Park, expanding access to US races. Currently, PMU performs the international simulcasting where Brazilian races are transmitted together with foreign event, increasing the dynamism of the bets. In this way, the PMU seeks the development of horse racing in the country and better distribution of information on local and international events.
