In his Twitter account, Bolsonaro made reference to the investments of Caixa Mais Brasil, which will allocate funds from Caixa Econômica Federal (CEF) to the initiative.
Last week, the president of CEF, Pedro Guimarães, was in Acre and said that the bank intends to change the sponsorship policy.
According to Guimarães, who visited the Center for Initiation to Sport (CIE) in Rio Branco, Caixa will prioritize the sponsorship of grassroots sports and community groups.
CIE received R$ 5.7 million (US$1.55m) from CEF for the construction of a sports complex where it trains a team of wheelchair users. At the sport venue, they train athletes of basic categories of the Olympic and Paralympic federations.
Through his account on Twitter, President Bolsonaro stressed that inclusion of people with disabilities in sport is one of the fronts of investment that Brazil will follow.
