Regarding the release of games of chance in Brazil, Alexandre Sampaio, president of the FBHA, says that the agenda arouses the interest of the hotel industry, but that may not go to the voting so soon. "In my view, it's not a priority. If it happens still this year, I believe only in the second half," says the president of FBHA.
In March last year, the Senate barred one of the projects on the subject, but this year Deputy Paulo Azi (DEM) presented Bill 530/2019, which deals exactly with the integrated resorts in casinos.
The meeting, scheduled for Brasilia, aims to present information and main demands of the sector to the Legislative. There will be present leaders of ABIH Nacional (Brazilian Association of Hotel Industry) and from Resorts Brasil. Other entities present are FBHA (Brazilian Federation of Lodging and Food) and FOHB (Forum of Hotel Operators of Brazil).
