BetPlay signs deal as new sponsor of the Colombian national football team

In the midst of the expansion of the online betting market in the country after having been legalized and regulated the activity a few years ago, the Colombian Football Federation and BetPlay reached an agreement that joins the sports betting site with the Colombian National Team for the next 4 years. 'Our company feels very proud to support the passion of Colombians for the national team,' said German Segura, manager of BetPlay in Colombia.

According to the agreement, BetPlay will accompany the national football teams of Colombia for men and women: U-20, U-21, U-23 and seniors, Futsal (majors and U-20, male and female), and beach football ( Seniors and male U-20).

"Our company feels very proud to support the passion of Colombians for their national team. We know how important it is to strengthen the sport in the country, so being an official collaborator of the Colombian team is the most accurate way to do it," said German Segura, manager of BetPlay in Colombia.

"For the Colombian Football Federation it is an immense joy to have BetPlay as the new Official Partner of our teams. We are sure that a company, which has always been concerned about the well-being of Colombians, will be a wonderful ally to continue developing our football and to give the best to our teams," commeented Jorge Enrique Velez, vice president of the Colombian Football Federation.

To announce its support for the Colombian team, BetPlay gathered at a meeting in the city of Medellín a group of clients, journalists and their brand ambassadors: Melina Ramírez, Mario Alberto Yepes, Faryd Mondragón and Javier Fernández, who accompanied Jorge Enrique Vélez and Germán Segura.

In 2018, BetPlay contributed more than US$ 13.5 million to the health of Colombians. This year the company aims to double that figure and continue contributing to the welfare of the country.

Since this year, the Portuguese Carlos Queiroz is the new coach of the Colombian national football team.
