Vasco da Gama announced last Friday two new sponsors, one of them is sports betting company Netbet. The website will have its logo printed on the lower front bar of Vasco’ shirt. The contract lasts until December 31 and the amounts involved have not been disclosed.
Vasco's vice president of marketing, Bruno Maia, told the club's official website about the new partnership with Netbet. "We are extremely proud that they have chosen Vasco, considering us the ideal partner to achieve their goals."
Netbet also released a note on the deal with the club.
"NetBet is expanding its field of operations and marking its presence outside the European continent. Brazil, of course, is one of the most attractive and strategic sports betting markets. We're talking about a sports-loving giant, and nothing's fairer than associating the NetBet brand with a football giant. The partnership with Vasco da Gama, one of the biggest Brazilian teams, is fundamental to increase the confidence of our brand among the Brazilian public," NetBet said in a statement.
This is NetBet's second sponsorship agreement with a club in the first division of the Brazilian Championship. In January, Fortaleza Esporte Clube announced a partnership with the sports betting company.
In addition to Netbet, Vasco also announced the partnership with the AOC TV brand, which will print its brand on the lower back bar of the team’s club.
"It's two more good news, endorsing the brand renewal we started last year. I am convinced that we will have a long and successful relationship with these two partners," concluded Bruno Maia.
