In addition to the President of the Republic and the lottery entities, the other ones present in the meeting were the president of Caixa, Pedro Guimarães; Federal Deputy Julio Cesar (PSD / PI); deputy leader of the government in the House, state deputy for Piauí, Georgiano Neto; and former federal deputy Luiz Carlos Hauly.
The agenda of the meeting included different issues such as the problems faced by the lottery sector during recent years and the promise of Caixa to solve those situations.
In a video released by ALSPI, the president of the entity, José Romero dos Santos Nascimento, affirms that Caixa committed to increase to lottery retailers the rate on the banking services offered by the network and to revisit the debate on the transfer of values in armored trucks in a definite way; opened a discussion for an increase in the percentage of the lottery in the sale of games and even a possible return of the FDR to compose this commission; an intention to discuss the entire portfolio of lotteries; and the opening of two new banking services through Caixa's credit and debit cards that are being developed in partnerships with card machine companies.
Nascimento also reported the concern of Caixa's president, Pedro Guimarães, with the systems and equipment stating that this is a problem not only of the lottery network, but of the bank as a whole.
One of the main victories of the day, undoubtedly, is the opening of negotiations for lottery entrepreneurs debts. According to Nascimento, a financing line can be created through which the retailers will be able to resolve their debts.
