"The lottery retailers are in a situation of penury, facing many problems. The remuneration is low in relation to the rates and the collection of games," said Deputy Weliton Prado.
One of the alternatives pointed out by the deputy is to transform into law the contractual relationship between the network of lottery retailers and Caixa Econômica Federal.
"Today they are in legal uncertainty, subject to changes in Caixa's rules," he explained. Another option, according to him, is to study the feasibility of diversifying the activities of the retailers, with electronic games, for example.
Romero Nascimento, representative of lottery retailers, goes in the same line. "There is already a draft bill to regulate the contracts, which can be closed by Caixa at any time," he said.
