Brazil eSports Forum to be held in Rio, integrates Dreamhack programming

The Brazil eSports Forum will take place on April 17th at the Marriot Hotel, Copabacana. The meeting will have several topics on the agenda, such as 'The competitive landscape in Brazil and its challenges' and 'Dreamhack and the eSports ecosystem in Brazil', as it will be part of the festival schedule. 'Public authorities, sports experts, entrepreneurs, pro players, and game developers will participate', says Filipe Rodrigues, Director General of Dreamhack Brasil.

The event is considered an evolution of Rio eSports Forum, which was the propeller of several important activities in the market. Among them, it is worth mentioning the arrival of DreamHack itself to Rio, since it was in his first visit and mention of the festival in the country, made by Arturo Castelo, Director of Dreamhack Spain. In addition, the entrepreneur will be present in this edition as well.

In addition to representing DreamHack Spain, the forum will be attended by Filipe Alves Rodrigues, Director of Dreamhack Brasil; Paulo Robertos Ribas, President of FERJEE; Maurco Aurélio Viera, National Secretary of Sport; Felipe Bornier, Secretary of Sports, Leisure and Youth of the RJ; Otávio Leite, Secretary of Tourism of RJ; Alexandre Marinho, CEO of SUPERNOVA; Bruno Playhard, Final Level Ambassador and Dreamhack Rio, and many others.

"We need to expand the ecosystem of games, so we will have the participation of public authorities, sports experts, entrepreneurs, pro players, press professionals and game developers. We also want to gather professionals of other sectors and create a conexion with tourism, innovation and education. It will be a unique experience!," says the Director General of Dreamhack Brasil, Filipe Rodrigues.

The Brazilian eSsports Forum will take place at Avenida Atlântica nº 2600, with tickets at R$ 399 (US$ 102). Students, seniors and teachers pay half-entry.
