Casino Iguazu inaugurates new space designed by architect Monica Spodek

To celebrate 25 years of activity in the tri-national region, Casino Iguazú is about to open its new space. The place has gained novelties, such as a bar, in addition to the renovation of the entire gaming room. The reopening will be in early July, the month in which the venture celebrates another year of operation. The new casino was designed by renowned Argentine architect Mónica Spodek, who was responsible for building the space in 1994.

With the new space, the casino will no longer be just reference in gaming to become the first choice of entertainment. According to the marketing manager, Francisco Langer, the proposal is aligned with the expectations of the HCI S.A. group, to which the Casino Iguazú belongs.

"We want to offer the public a unique experience with each visit, so we are looking for news that go beyond the reform," he said. Even with the changes, the origins of the casino will be maintained. "We want to have this look at what is to come, but without forgetting everything we have done to reach these 25 years as one of the most important references in the field," added Francisco.

The new casino was designed by the architect Mónica Spodek, who was responsible for the construction of the space in 1994. For the reform, market research and concepts were carried out in order to meet what the client is looking for. The great novelty of the gaming room is the union between spaces. Old walls that divided the main hall of the others will be removed. In the middle, the "heart" of the casino is being built: a large bar with space for shows and presentations, which can welcome visitors who come to play or just enjoy the atmosphere.

The idea is to make the on-site visit a unique experience, betting or enjoying the bar. Modern machines and tables of different types, such as roulette, black jacks, baccarat, dice, bingo, among others -are more than 250-, can be paid in reais, dollars or pesos. Big poker tournaments will continue to be the main attractions of the space. "We do not want to be one of the best, but the best in what we do," concluded Francisco.

Location

Built in the city of Puerto Iguazú, Argentina, Casino Iguazú is located just 300 meters from the Argentine customs, on the border with Foz do Iguaçu (Paraná). The space is considered one of the most important in Latin America and one of the main attractions in the land of the Falls. Annually, tourists from various countries visit the place.

One of Casino's trademarks is personalized customer service and one of the largest bingo halls in South America, as well as its poker tournaments that bring together players from various cities in Brazil, Argentina and abroad.

Study with trajectory
