According to Varela Notícias, the proposal was presented to President Guilherme Bellintani and the agreement should be sealed in the coming days. As happens with its archrival Vitória, the brand should be printed on the bottom bar of the shirt, below the master sponsorship.
This agreement will only be possible due to Law 13756/18, promulgated in 2018, which, among other issues, creates the sports betting modality in Brazil. With this move, the Brazilian clubs can be sponsored by companies from the online gaming market.
Currently, Bahia is sponsored by Dular, Promédica, Vapt Blue Tintas and Brahma, as well as the local firm Canaã Alimentos.
