It is still unknown the name of the president of this new company created by la Caixa that will manage the lotteries, its scope or if it will have an influence on sensitive issues such as LOTEX and the regulation of sports betting.
As a new area, the company will have a big task in reordering and modernizing the lottery offer, where Ribeiro Castro has an even more important role than his previous positions within Caixa itself.
Ribeiro Castro has been in Caixa since 1990, where he started working as Costumers and Business Manager. There, he had an outstanding job in the development of Mega da Virada, Lotomania de Páscoa, Lotofácil da Independência, Quina de São João, third lottery and multiple bets of Lotofácil, and the creation of stock betting -Bolão-, and the 2012 collection of instant lotteries.
Within his tasks, he also actively participate in the design of a model for the performance of Fixed-Odd Betting in Brazil, prior to the legalization of December 2018.
In 2013, he was named National Manager of Lottery Negotiations, a position he held until last year when he was first promoted to National Superintendent and then to National Manager.
