At first, the group showed interest in installing the project in Florianópolis. During the meeting, the State Government team showed the diversity of Santa Catarina and the potential of other cities.
"Santa Catarina is the most efficient state in Brazil," said Moisés. "It offers investment opportunities in several regions; our challenge is to make all of them develop in an equitable way.”
Hricko highlighted the scope of the group in the world and the expansion plans for the next few years. "Today we have 180 cafes and 29 hotels around the world, and we are looking for an expansion to an average of 11 hotels a year. We have 18,000 rooms open and now we will practically double. In recent days we have had meetings in Sao Paulo, Atlanta, Chicago, Barcelona, Madrid and other cities," he said.
Petry Arena President, Sandro Petry: Santur President Flavia Didomenico; and Secretary of International Relations, Derian Campos, also attended the meeting, along with Senator Dario Berger.
