With news and US$ 2m GTD, WSOP Rio celebrates 50 years of the World Series

The championship that marked the return of poker to Rio de Janeiro is back. The festival takes place from September 11 to 17 at the luxurious Belmond Copacabana Palace, with the coveted WSOP Circuit rings in contention, in addition to maintaining the tradition of having one of the best guaranteed prizes in the world of poker: US$ 2 million GTD distributed among the events. The full official agenda will be published soon. Check out the official video.

The imposing salons of Rio's traditional hotel have already witnessed the success of the WSOP Circuit Brazil last year when thousands of players took part of the event, and the 2019 edition will be no different.

Playing the WSOP may not only be an opportunity to win a prestigious WSOP Circuit ring, but also a chance to be able to play the event that brings together the best players in the world, the WSOP Global Championship. That's because the winner of the Main Event and the champion of the ranking of points get a place at the huge Cherokee tournament in the United States and give the player the chance to play for the incredible WSOP bracelet.

The 2019 edition will be even more special for celebrating the 50th anniversary of the World Series of Poker. Players who take part in the stage in Rio de Janeiro can expect news during the tournament.

PP LIVE DOLLARS PROMOTIONS

The official sponsor of the WSOP Circuit Brazil, partypokerlive, has prepared an exclusive promotion for Rio de Janeiro’ stage.

The first 50 players who buy-in for the Main Event using PP LIVE Dollars will receive a free buy-in for the Brazilian Storm event. The promotion is already happening and, so far, there are 39 places left.

PP LIVE Dollars, the flexible partypoker virtual currency, can be won on daily satellites in the room. PP LIVE Dollars can be used to pay for buy-ins and expenses like flights and hotels when it comes to partypoker LIVE events, including the WSOP Circuit Brazil 2019.
