Florida Hollywood is located between Fort Lauderdale and Miami and has hosted one of two network’s hotel developments run by the Seminole tribe. The other is in Tampa, on the west coast of that state, and is also undergoing major renovations.
The "hotel-guitar" project has an estimated cost of US$ 1.5 billion and other strident numbers. The 137-meter high structure, covered by huge mirrored windows, will accommodate 638 rooms, including superior rooms and suites. Reservations can be made from July 24th.
At the foot of the Guitar Tower is building a 54,000-square-meter aquatic complex with three distinct areas, including a pool with a small strip of sand simulating a beach, and another that emulates a tropical lagoon with small waterfalls and practice area activities such as stand-up paddle and kayak.
Facing this "pool-pond" will be another new wing of the resort, the Oasis Tower, with 168 rooms and seven floors. The complex's expansion project also includes a new spa, 16 restaurants and a 6,500-seat concert hall. And it will arrive, of course, with a casino, which will win 200 more gaming tables and 3,000 slot machines.
The network to reach Brazil in 2020
With 27 hotels worldwide, Hard Rock International will arrive to Brazil in 2020. To date, there are five venues planned: Fortaleza, Ilha do Sol (Paraná), São Paulo, Foz do Iguaçu and Natal.
The first one to leave the paper will be the one of Ceará, already under construction - in fact, the hotel will be located in Praia da Lagoinha, in the municipality of Paraipaba, 100 kilometers from Fortaleza. It is expected to open in December 2020 with 395 rooms, three restaurants, two swimming pools, spa and event space.
The Hard Rock Hotel Ilha do Sol should begin operating in early 2021 in a new tourist destination still in development, in the north of Paraná. The resort will be located on an island bordered by the Paranapanema and Tibagi Rivers, in the municipality of Sertaneja, and will be accessible by boat only. It will have 196 rooms divided into four categories.
The Hard Rock Hotel São Paulo will have an urban style and will work in an existing building on Avenida Paulista, which is being reshaped. With over 240 rooms, it should also be opened in the next two years. In Rio Grande do Norte, the 500-room resort will be located on the coast of the city of Extremoz, in the metropolitan region of Natal.
