Pinnacle partners with Santa Cruz FC in the Brazilian online gaming marketplace

Santa Cruz FC becomes the first football club in Brazil to monetize its mobile application via play for fun sportsbook gamification. This alliance of mobile app technology, sports betting, and the football industry is perfectly situated to create new commercial growth opportunities. “The Brazilian is a key market and we are very excited about the potential this partnership with Santa Cruz FC offers,” said Pinnacle CEO, Paris Smith.

The commercial agreement between Santa Cruz FC, online gaming powerhouse Pinnacle Sports, and European app developer ECLECTICA allows the club to provide the latest in mobile technology and content delivery to their fans. This strategic partnership has already opened the door to new avenues of income generation for Santa Cruz FC as part of the process.

Although fans can’t bet directly from the application itself, there is a link in the menu that leads to the Pinnacle site through a previous registration page. Once this process is completed, the user is taken to the Pinnacle site where he can bet on different sports and events.



In the environment of the app, which is available in IOS and Google Play, users are assigned a "fictitious" amount of money to bet on victory or draw in every game of any league in the world where they want to play for fun. According to their results, the user account can grow or decrease. Users must have previously registered with their data or through social networks.
