Cláudio Humberto Rosa e Silva (Alagoas) is a Brazilian journalist, columnist and editor-in-chief of Diário do Poder, responsible for the rise of former president Fernando Collor de Mello in the national political scene. His column is reproduced in newspapers of all Brazil.
He worked as a press officer for Fernando Collor de Mello since 1986, becoming his spokesman when he took over the presidency. After de Mello's impeachment, Cláudio Humberto left the politician and wrote the book ‘A Thousand Days of Solitude,’ where he recounted what happened during the former president's government.
In 2001 Cláudio Humberto released the book “Power without modesty,” with illustrations by Osvaldo Pavanelli, having won the 14th HQ Mix Trophy as "best book of caricatures".
