FPF Academy holds sports betting seminar today in Brasil

FPF Academia, the academic arm of the São Paulo Football Federation, is holding the Sports Betting, Philanthropic Draws and Trade Promotion Seminar today, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., for directors, managers, executives, club employees, lawyers and students. The seminar will be attended by the president of the FPF, Reinaldo Carneiro Bastos, and the National Secretary of Public Policy Evaluation, Planning, Energy and Lottery of the Ministry of Economy, Alexandre Manoel Angelo da Silva, among others.

The event will be the right place to discuss about sports betting regulation, as well as exploring philanthropic draws and trade promotions such as fundraising for sports entities.

The seminar will be attended by the president of the FPF, Reinaldo Carneiro Bastos; Alexandre Manoel Angelo da Silva, National Secretary for Public Policy Evaluation, Planning, Energy and Lottery of the Ministry of Economy; Waldir Eustaquio Marques Jr, Subsecretary of Prizes and Draws of the National Secretariat for Public Policy Evaluation, Planning, Energy and Lottery of the Ministry of Economy; Paulo Schmitt, Attorney General of the Anti-Doping Sports Court and coordinator of the FPF Integrity Commission; and Pedro Trengrouse, vice-chairman of the Special Committee on Sports Gaming, Lotteries and Entertainment of the Federal Council of the Brazilian Bar.

The FPF Integrity Booklet will also be launched at the seminar, which clearly details the differences between betting and manipulation of results.
