It is important to remember that the public consultation on the regulation of Sports Betting in Brazil is already underway (until 30/08). Thus, this is a theme that will surely be part of the agenda of OGS Brazil that intends, once again, to count on the participation of the Special Secretariat of Finance of the Ministry of Economy.
In the consultation, the organization of OGS Brazil proposes to participants to classify the relevance of the macro themes raised in the survey conducted shortly after the 2018 event that are related to both Online Games and Sports Betting.
There are several topics covered such as Business Models Suitable for the Brazilian Market, Responsible Gambling, Ludopathy Prevention, Payment Methods, Player Protection and others. Some debates are also proposed such as how the regulated market should deal with current operators, whether as Visionary Entrepreneurs or Offenders?
Other discussions such as Sports Integrity and the Participation of Athletes, Clubs and Federations in combating match-fixing and other fraud should also be on the agenda.
