CIBELAE congratulated Caixa by reproducing on its website the publication made by WLA announcing the companies that received the certifications from the entity.
"Congratulations to the following lotteries and suppliers for maintaining a visible and documented security environment in order to achieve and maintain public confidence in lottery operations," said WLA in its publication.
In addition to Caixa, six more companies received WLA's security recertification. The association has also awarded 3 new certifications and nearly 20 annual reviews to operating companies or lottery suppliers around the world.
The WLA certification confirms that the entity recognizes the adoption by operators of the best practices of governance and management of information security, risk and business continuity in the operation of Federal Lotteries.
The Security Control Standard (WLA-SCS) combines a comprehensive information security management foundation (including ISO 27001) with additional lottery-specific security controls that represent current best practices.
