With Brazilian star Ronaldinho as ambassador, 22BET launches operations in Kenya

Sports betting enthusiasts in Kenya are now spoilt for choice following the entry of betting firm 22BET into the market, not long after the firm expanded to the UK. The brand includes a number of iconic ambassadors, such as legendary Brazil player Ronaldinho, as well as Nuno Gomes and Kevin Kuranyi, former players of the Portuguese and German national team, respectively.

According to the company, their aim is “providing the most transparent and customer-oriented services on the Kenyan market.”

At a time when several betting companies are facing scrutiny from the Kenya Revenue Authority for not meeting undisclosed licensing requirements, 22BET has been given a clean slate.

Kenyans will now be able to make money through sports betting which the most popular option or online casinos.

22BET has made the betting process easier for Kenyan players by integrating mobile payment options, M-Pesa and Airtel Money. The options will include betting on both major football leagues and tournaments, as well as all Kenyan leagues.

22BET offers both live and digital options in online casinos. The digital option boasts a wide variety of slot games for Kenya, with popular classic “Starburst” and Big Time Gaming’s rendition of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?” alongside over 400 others.
