The meeting requested by the company is scheduled for 2:00 pm in Block P of the Ministry of Economy. On behalf of Continent 8 will be present James Michael Tobin, CEO and founder of the company, and Mario Fernando Dealba Leri, Account Manager.
The company comes from the hand of Neil Montgomery, a founding partner and manager of the advocacy desk Montgomery & Associados, based in São Paulo, who will also participate in the meeting in Brasilia.
Representing the Brazilian government will be Alexandre Manoel Angelo da Silva, National Secretary for Public Policy Assessment, Planning, Energy and Lottery (SECAP) of the Ministry of Economy; Waldir Eustáquio Marques, SECAP Under Secretary; and Bernardo Antonio Machado Mota, General Coordinator of International Coordination of Coaf (Financial Activities Control Board).
There are already several companies that have met with the Ministry of Economy to offer their experience and services, and at the same time better understand the path that Brazil will take to regulate the sports betting market. The details of a first minute of the decree were already disclosed last Friday by Alexandre Manoel himself in Sao Paulo.
