The German bookmaker expands in Brazil

estadium.bet to sponsor Atletico Goianiense, will fund referee and VAR system of Pernambucano 2020

The German bookmaker does not stop growing in Brazil. To the recent announcement of sponsorship of the Santa Cruz club, now two more actions are added in the local football scene. The site will be master sponsor of Atletico Goianiense, a team that has just won the title of the Goiano champion and that this year will compete in the Serie A of Brasileirao. Also, estadium.bet will also cover all the refereeing and the VAR in the quarterfinal, semifinal and final matches of the Pernambucano 2020 tournament.

The agreement with Atlético-GO contemplates the presence in the central area of the team shirt as it is a master sponsorship for the next two years and covers all teams of the club, not just men's football. estadium.bet will be in all material, backdrop, plates, website and social networks.

In 2019, the "Dragon" won the 14th champion title of Goiás state by beating Goiás in the final by the aggregate score of 4-0. Ranked fourth in Serie B, it secured the third access in his history to Serie A 2020, becoming one of the great traditional Serie B teams.

The contract will be signed next week, calling the competition the Pernambuco estadium.bet 2020 Championship, something the FPF had already done with Coca-Cola, Chevrolet and Celpe. In the last two years, however, the competition has had no master sponsor.

Clubs spend up to R$ 7,000 (US$ 1,700) per game, with refereeing. With this, they can save almost R$ 90,000 (US$ 22,000), if they reach the final. Amount equivalent to the TV quota of the country clubs. In the case of VAR, the investment would be about R$ 30,000 (US$ 7,300) per game. It is also supported by the sponsorship.

“This year there is a significant plus, as the Federation will fund the football referee of the Championship thanks to estadium.bet's contribution. This is the first time in Brazil that this happens,” said Carvalho.

“Our appetite is big in the Brazilian market and we want to be one of the biggest players here. In a few days we will also announce agreements with other clubs and an ambassador who will represent our brand very well”, promises Altug.
