Ronaldo became a CNB partner in January 2017 along with poker player André Akkari and Brazilian Series of Poker (BSOP) executive director Igor Trafane, who are no longer part of the organization.
The future of CNB will be focused "on the revelation, training and formation of new talents and fostering the community", with the organization putting all its resources into projects that it already develops, such as ‘Preparing Champions’, "and in new ways, especially in educational sector, with courses and training."
In a statement sent to the press, CNB Executive Director Carlos Junior assured that CNB will not stop competing in the League of Legends. According to the CEO, "the club will continue to compete with the base teams in the so-called 'Tier 3', always seeking the evolution of the base athletes, who will be raised to the market, having more visibility and chances of getting contracts with circuit teams and CBLoL itself."
"Our screen has already been consolidated and is the largest player development project in the world. No other club has been able to market as many players as we have. CNB was born with my brother's dream of living games and that's how we grew up, seeking and giving opportunities. We want to stay focused and now more than ever, giving even more attention to the young talents we have in Brazil. Our mission will be to give more space and form players so that they are ready to play in the main teams in the scenario," he said.
In this new journey that the organization will take in electronic sports, CNB hopes to bring eSports to more people. To this end, it created Blumers4Life, "which will seek to promote the activity in an educational manner and also to cooperate in different charitable causes."
"Through our projects we have already impacted the lives of hundreds of people, both by donating food collected at the Arena and by including sports in projects with SESC. We want to further expand this activity. Of course, we will be open to contacts from companies that are committed to contributing to our projects," concluded the CEO.
