LeoVegas incorporates Neteller as new payment method for Brazil

Following the announcement of its sponsorship of the Guarani club, now LeoVegas added a payment method solution for its punters. The Swedish company incorporates Neteller as a new option in Brazil, a company that had left the country in 2018 and decided to return at the end of last year attracted by the legalization of sports betting. “We will always do everything possible to facilitate the experience of our bettors,” said the general manager of the group for Brazil and Latin America, Thomas Carvalhaes.

The LeoVegas group has been expecting to enter the Brazilian market for at least 5 years and is now betting on opening the legal sports betting market as a vector for financial growth in the country. For this reason, its expansion has begun through sponsorships and deals that extend its image in the local market and facilitate the experience for Brazilian gamblers who trust the site.

Last week, LeoVegas signed a sponsorship agreement with Guarani bringing club’s idol, Evair, at the time of the partnership seal in the character of brand ambassador. The company’s logo is already stamped on the front bar of the shirt and also on the interview backdrops.

“We hope that the rules and guidelines for acting in Brazil will be established quickly and practically in order to continue investing and supporting the local market,” assured in an exclusive interview with GMB the general manager of the group for Brazil and LatAm, Thomas Carvalhaes.

Neteller is trusted by millions of people every day to transfer money online and is one of the simplest ways to deposit with LeoVegas in Brazil. The company is among the first operators to add Neteller payments in Brazil, highlighting its commitment to providing a reliable product in the sports betting market in the country.

Neteller and its sister brand Skrill, both part of the Paysafe group, closed their doors to Brazilian players in early 2018 but decided to return at the end of last year with the sports betting market already legalized and close to its definitive regulation.

“Certainly, there is a lot of novelty out there, including new markets. We are looking at new regions in Latin America. At the product level, LeoVegas is always working with content promoters as partners, not only in relation to games, but also in terms of payment method solutions. Once the regulation becomes known, everything will become easier and flow better, so our expectation is the best possible,” promises Carvalhaes.
