Flávio Bolsonaro believes he can convince evangelical group to legalize casinos

Senator Flávio Bolsonaro returned to the country after leading a delegation that traveled to the United States on issues related to the growth of tourism in Brazil. Games Magazine Brasil exclusively had access to the content of several of the meetings that the president's son held in Las Vegas. The congressman said he would boost the legalization of integrated resorts with casinos with legislators and assured that he had a strategy to convince the evangelical group.

The Brazilian delegation led by Senator Flávio Bolsonaro was received on the first day in Las Vegas by Rob Goldstein, CEO of Grupo LVS, of tycoon Sheldon Adelson. "Brazil is Las Vegas Sands' number one interest in investing US$ 15 billion in 2020; we just need to regulate the matter so that they have transparency and legal certainty," said the president's son.

The asked sources found "a man willing to 'do', to discuss everything that is necessary with data, information, technical and theoretical support on the best practices used in this type of business to carry out in a safe and controlled manner."

“Flávio Bolsonaro is very interested in developing an agenda and making things happen. He is eager to improve the number of tourists and that is why he wants to legalize casinos through conviction and consensus, and not by imposition,” commented one of those present in the negotiations.

At the meetings, the senator was willing to gather all the information needed to convince lawmakers that integrated resorts are necessary to increase tourism across the country and generate jobs and taxes. For that, he asked the specialists to receive reports, data, control and inspection systems that guarantee transparency to the process in Brazil.

"The senator knows the obstacles and the resistance that this project encounters in some sectors of society, but I also guarantee that he has a strategy to convince the evangelical group and to weaken his public resistance," a source told Games Magazine Brasil.

Something that was clear all along is that the senator spoke only on his behalf and not on his father's. Any opinion or intention expressed in the lecture was given by Flávio Bolsonaro and not by the president of Brazil.

Regarding the image left by the senator, one of those present did not hesitate: "I noticed him safe, confident in being able to express these opinions and obtain the support to approve legalization based on a deep discussion that makes everyone agree."
