Caixa hopes to be able to launch the Caixa Seguridade and Caixa Cartão subsidiaries later this year, said the bank's president, Pedro Guimarães, yesterday (Wednesday 29th).
"This is the year when we expect to have at least two of our divisions in the stock exhange: Caixa Seguridade and Caixa Cartãoas," he said at an event with investors, promoted by the bank Credit Suisse, in São Paulo.
Guimarães also expressed the intention to, later on, also take Caixa Loterias to the stock market -something that depends on a government decree - and Caixa Asset - a project that is more incipient.
The president of Caixa announced that the bank will launch "within a few weeks" the fixed-rate mortgage loan modality. According to him, the credit with correction by the IPCA expanded the public with access to home financing because it reduced between 30% and 50% the cost of the first installment.
Another market in which Caixa plans to open, according to Guimarães, is that of small machines. "We are the only bank that has no acquisitions. We will resolve that situaiton."
The executive said that the bank's result in 2019, which will be released in the coming weeks, will be "relevant" and that "for 2020, it will be relevant too".
