This will be the impressive cabin to recreate a Las Vegas casino at Rio de Janeiro Carnival

Businessman Alexis de Vaulx promises this year to innovate once again by bringing to Camarote + Brasil at Sapucai, the ‘Casinos, Gaming and Employability’ topic that generate income and warming in the economy worldwide. “Inspired by the best casinos, we recreate an imposing light show environment, a 200m2 LED display and the famous Las Vegas welcome landmark making the space real and attractive to the public,” explains Marcio Aurélio Cunha Architecture studio.

Integrating architecture, scenography and design in a sophisticated, elegant and cheerful way was Marcio Aurélio Cunha Arquitetura's challenge to be present at the "Biggest Show on Earth", holding the "Carnival Experience". ⠀

“Inspired by casinos around the world, we recreate an imposing ambience from the façade, where we have a light show, a 200m2 LED screen and the famous Las Vegas welcome landmark, welcoming guests to the ‘+ Brasil’ cabin,” explains the architecture studio.

Inside, the vibrant colors and bursting of carefully applied cards bring the fantasy world imagination of casinos and carnival to the living areas and more vibrantly within the gaming area.

Curtains, carpets and game tables accompany the red, green and gold color game, transforming the space, making it real and attractive to the audience of every event.

Together with Incentivo Brasil, Grupo Hel will market tickets for the luxurious Camarote + Brasil in sector 5 of Marquês de Sapucaí, where it will have three private spaces to serve large corporations that want to expand their business with relationship marketing actions.

In this space of pure luxury will feature original roulette tables, black jack, poker, craps, baccarat, plus slot machines, all coming straight from Las Vegas. The event will offer the help of professionals, the dealers, if the guests need some tips to get in the game.

The games will not involve money so they will be fully legal under Brazilian law. Only poker, legalized in the country, will have its own tournament every day of Carnival. “To participate, the player has to get a buy-in, a minimum of one table, which will be R$ 3,000 (US$ 740), with 80% going to the prize pool. The intention is to reach 120 players in the four days 22, 23 and 24 February, with final table in the parades of the champions, on February 29,” explains creator Alexis de Vaulx.

The prize is estimated at R$ 150,000 (US$ 37,000). Thanks to the casino's presence, Vaulx believes that people will stay an average of 30% more time at the event. While the casino's goal at Camarote + Brasil has always been to provide sophisticated, high-level entertainment for select customers, he believes that legalizing gaming will help the Marvelous City's financial and tourism growth. "Of course, the return of the casino will greatly benefit Rio de Janeiro for tourism and consequently for the city's economy," says the businessman.

Gambling regulation is currently on the agenda and Vaulx is betting on the international projection that this may give to the municipality. When asked if he thinks cariocas and tourists will embrace the idea, he said: “Absolutely, because Rio de Janeiro is the face of the casino in Brazil!”
