Inter Milan joins Betsson’s StarCasinò.sport platform

Following on from its partnership with city rival AC Milan, Betsson confirms that its flagship Italian igaming property StarCasinò will become “principal Infotainment Partner” of Inter Milan FC. Owned by the Betsson Group, the platform is a sport-entertainment website trading on the proposition of providing “exclusive content created and shared by stars for fans”, including videos, exclusive news, interviews and focuses on Europe’s big five leagues.

Abiding by Italy’s ‘Decree Laws’ prohibiting all forms of gambling advertising, Betsson will develop exclusive digital content for Inter fans published on its new media platform StarCasinò.sport.

The Inter deal will take the website deeper in the Internazionale fan base “to develop its content in an increasingly innovative way, with exclusive initiatives and activities for all Nerazzurri fans”, said a club press release.

Inter CEO Alessandro Antonello said: “Producing innovative and quality content for our fans, taking advantage of the growing digital and multimedia infrastructures of our Club, is of fundamental importance for us, and we are happy to have found the ideal partner in StarCasinò.sport. We hope that this agreement will bring both organisations to a future rich in satisfaction.”

As part of the marketing package StarCasinò.sport will have advertising space on the LEDs at San Siro, at the Suning Training Center in Appiano Gentile and on the official inter.it website.

The partnership with FC Internazionale is very important to us in terms of image, it expands our range of contents and allows us to collaborate with an innovation-oriented club” said Ronni Hartvig, chief commercial officer of Betsson Group.
