Flamengo Esports announces Weedzão as club ambassador at Free Fire

Streamer, commentator and Free Fire world champion, Ernani Perim, known as Weedzão, has just signed with Flamengo Esports to be ambassador and produce content for the Free Fire division of the ‘red-black’ team. The partnership took place through Flamengo's electronic sports department and ABCM Agency, a firm belonging to the BMS holding company, responsible for managing Weedzão's career as an influencer.

"I am very happy to be an ambassador for the greatest team in the world. I am already a good friend of the B4 crowd; it is a huge opportunity," celebrates Weedzão.

Flamengo Esports director Fred Tannure highlighted the great importance of the influencer's arrival for the club's relationship with Free Fire fans.

“Weedzão was a priority for us when we started this project, because we know the potential and the relationship he has with those who like the game. We believe it will be an excellent partnership for him and Flamengo,” he highlights.

About Weedzão

Former waiter and sushiman, Ernani "Weedzão" Duarte worked in a restaurant receiving a minimum wage, from Tuesday to Sunday from 3:00 pm until 2:00 am. When he became unemployed, he returned to live with his mother and in order to support his son he started playing Free Fire at the recommendation of a friend.

Duarte liked the game and began to dedicate himself to training. In the beginning he had only a notebook with a broken screen, no cooler, and no video card. Even so, he continued looking for a traditional job, studying and playing at the same time.

Over time he stood out on the stage and after participating in his first major game championship, he won the title of "The Best AWM in Brazil" for his performance with the weapon. The streamer was very dedicated to living his dream and never imagined that today he would be an inspiration for many young people in the Free Fire community.

Weedzão was world champion of Free Fire in Bangkok (in addition to coach), BSOFF Free Fire 2017, of the World of Free Fire 2019, and commented on the 2019 Pro League.

On social networks, the player has more than 3.5 million followers on Instagram, a YouTube channel and lives on the Nimo TV platform.
