The emblematic Punta del Este casino & resort will reopen with a special protocol drawn up based on national and international standards, and a reduced capacity. “When all this began, we closed our complex with sorrow. It was time to heed the recommendations of the authorities to stay home and avoid any activity that could facilitate the spread of the virus. Since last March we have not stopped working and looking for alternatives to make our return,” explained its general manager, Ignacio Sarmiento.
“After so many months, and once again demonstrating our commitment to tourism and to the country, we can say with great joy that Enjoy Punta del Este will open its doors again this December 11, in a first phase of reopening our operations. With the proper health protocols and in full agreement with the national authorities, this will allow us to reinforce the country strategy of inviting Uruguayans and those who are not already residing in our country, to vacation in Punta del Este, and that Enjoy can be a another option to promote domestic tourism ”, added Sarmiento.
"In line with our culture of innovation, and supported by the protocols and distances required, we look for opportunities in the new normal to offer new entertainment proposals, new slot and table arrangements, as well as new entertainment spaces," concluded Sarmiento.
Among them, the casino & resort authorities highlight the new space "Enjoy Win SportsBar" where will be possible to enjoy the broadcast of sporting events from around the world, play on the Enjoy Win "for fun" platform for free, accompanied by gastronomy and modern and elegant cocktail bar.
Also, the Ovo beach club will once again be a point of reference to enjoy the beach and the sunsets accompanied by good music, drinks and a calendar of gastronomic activities on which the complex is working.
“This first phase of reopening, which will take place during the summer season, will allow some of our collaborators to return to their tasks and for our suppliers to operate again. And at the same time, it will enable us to receive Uruguayans and foreigners who already reside in our country in our complex, and add our offer to the internal tourism proposal promoted by the national government ”, Sarmiento concluded.
