Casa de Apostas sponsors video with testimonials from players who overcame cancer

Santos and Bahia, sponsored by the Casa de Apostas, will continue the actions involving the November Blue campaign and released last week on social networks a video with testimonials from club professionals who overcame cancer. At Santos, the video was by Guilherme Giudice, coach of the club's professional women's football team, while at Bahia it was goalkeeper Douglas Friedrich.

The action is part of a Casa de Apostas campaign, sponsor of the club, and had an initiative in the round of the weekend of November 7th and 8th, when the lineup of Santos in the game against Red Bull Bragantino was disclosed with only five athletes; and Bahia against Botafogo, disclosed with only six athletes, representing that half of Brazilians with prostate cancer are in an advanced stage, but do not know they have the disease.

The Blue November involving Santos, Bahia and Casa de Apostas - in addition to Botafogo and Vitória, other clubs sponsored by the company, will extend throughout the month and highlights and reinforces the importance of prevention and diagnosis related to men's health, among them, prostate cancer. The lack of information and resistance to the search for diagnoses and procedures are barriers that need to be overcome to reduce the incidence of the disease.

"We believe in the strength of sport and football to be a great vector of information and change in people's behavior. When carrying out actions that deal with topics of great relevance and reach, taking care of people, we are working on the brands involved and positioning Casa de Apostas closer to society," says Hans Schleier, marketing director at Casa de Apostas.

In addition to the Casa de Apostas and the clubs, the Lado a Lado Pela Vida Institute also works together in this partnership, which since 2008 has been dedicated to bringing health information and making the population aware of the importance of changing habits for the adoption of a healthier life and focused on prevention.
