Nueva Inversiones Pacífico Sur confirms total purchase of Sun Dreams

Through an essential fact sent to the Commission for the Financial Market (CMF), Sun Dreams reported on Monday this week that the purchase of 65% of Sun Latam SpA by the company Nueva Inversiones Pacífico Sur Limitada, linked to the Fischer brothers, was completed, thus controlling 100% of the company. Sun Latam ceases to be a shareholder of the company, and Pacífico becomes the sole owner of the firm that operates the Casino Monticello.

The company pointed out that “both companies certified compliance with each and every one of the conditions outlined in the Purchase Agreement, including the approval of the Superintendency of Gambling Casinos (SCJ) and other corporate authorizations that correspond to both shareholders, consequently they have proceeded to sign all the acts and contracts that have been necessary for the materialization of the acquisition."

Thus, upon completion of the transaction, Sun Latam ceases to be a shareholder of the Company, and Pacífico becomes the sole owner of the company that operates the Casino Monticello.

Sun Dreams is currently one of the largest casino operators in Latin America, with a presence in Chile, Peru, Panama, Argentina and Colombia.

At the local level, the firm owns in Chile casinos in Iquique, Mostazal, Temuco, Valdivia, Puerto Varas, Coyhaique and Punta Arenas.
