Pay4Fun digital wallet customers can now make deposits via PIX system

New system PIX has just arrived for the general public and Pay4Fun could not be left out of this novelty. Customers of leading payment methods firm Pay4Fun will be able to make their deposits through the new product of Brazil’s Central Bank (BC). Transactions take place in less than 10 seconds and are available 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays.

Pay4Fun has just announced on its website and social media that the new payment method created by the Central Bank, and available since November 16, has already reached its entire customer portfolio. To guarantee confidence in PIX, the company is presenting all information about the novelty.

Is PIX safe?

Brazil’s Central Bank created a security manual that contains the basic requirements that banks and other financial institutions participating in PIX must follow.

The BC clarifies that the PIX has the same security protocols as the National Financial System that are already used today for TEDs and DOCs.

Transactions via PIX also have the security layers offered by financial institutions themselves through cell phones, such as biometrics, facial recognition and others.

The transactions and data of PIX users are protected by two fundamental security measures: encryption and authentication.

Both authentication and encryption must be adopted by the financial agents participating in the PIX, in order to avoid fraud and financial losses to users. Pay4Fun adopts all the security measures proposed by the Central Bank of Brazil.

What are the advantages of using PIX?

In addition to the speed, efficiency and availability of financial transactions carried out via PIX, the Central Bank's new instant payment system has other advantages such as:

- creating more competitiveness and efficiency in the market

- cost reduction

- increased security

- improving customer experience

- incentive to make retail payments electronic

- promoting financial inclusion among the unbanked population

Pay4Fun's digital wallet is a solution aimed at streamlining financial transactions, as well as facilitating the access of Brazil's unbanked customers to the world of digital payments.

Now with PIX, Pay4Fun becomes even more complete and competitive in relation to the services offered by traditional banks.

The president of the Central Bank, Roberto Campos Neto, said recently that the PIX will also enable small businesses. “PIX gives everyone ample access. There are small businesses that were not viable because transfers are very expensive, so PIX generates this viability.”

During the official PIX launching ceremony, the president of the Central Bank also stated that the tool will expand the process of financial inclusion. “We need to remember that there are cities that do not have an ATM and bank branches, the person who has a store needs to go to another city to deposit the money.”

The company invites everyone to register with Pay4Fun to have access to all the features that the digital wallet offers. “Use PIX with all the security and credibility of Pay4Fun, which has live customer support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you can answer all your questions with a real person, trained and willing to serve well,” the firm says in a statement.
