"Amazonas has had a law authorizing this activity since 2013. There are states that are already starting the implementation of their lotteries and Amazonas must also do this, as it is an important source of income," said Afonso.
State deputy Ricardo Ayres (PSB), on the other hand, entered into the Legislative Assembly, in October, a bill that proposes the creation of a State Lottery of Tocantins - the “Loteria Social” (Social Lottery). “With a state lottery, in addition to promoting public policies, we may also be able to generate more jobs and income for people of Tocantins with the lottery agencies to be implemented,” said Ayres.
