Fight against prostate cancer

Betting and payment firms mobilize in ‘Novembro Azul’ campaign in Brazil

Companies of the gaming sector have always supported campaigns for the benefit of society, and as soon as the one on breast cancer finished, they turn to fight against another type, the prostate. Betmotion is already engaged and will double what bettors donate to institutions. Pay4Fun has also positioned itself on social networks and warns men to set aside prejudice and consult a doctor for regular consultations. Casa de Apostas also took up the topic.

Betmotion is calling everyone on its social networks to engage in the campaign against prostate cancer, explaining that it is the type of cancer that ranks second among the causes of deaths in men who develop the disease in Brazil.

In the campaign, the company states that “we at Betmotion believe in this and we want, as part of society, to make our contribution through our social project: BetSocial. How? Supporting NGOs and diverse institutions for social purposes, whose job is to help precisely those who need it most. How it works? Betmotion will double the amount donated (up to R$100) by the players, to the institutions that contribute to society.” In the previous campaign (Outubro Rosa), the company donated almost R$35,000 to entities that fight breast cancer.

Pay4Fun also went to Instagram to draw men's attention to the importance of preventive exams. In addition to recommending regular medical consultations and cultivating healthy habits, the payment methods company points out that "prejudice against the test that identifies prostate cancer and other diseases, can cost your health."

Casa de Apostas, sponsor of Bahia, Botafogo, Santos and Vitória, will carry out a series of activations involving the clubs to publicize the ‘Novembro Azul’ campaign. It will show videos on the teams' social networks telling stories of people who managed to beat the disease.

As the month of November has just begun, it is to be expected that other companies in the gaming sector will also take action on men's health.
