The action is completing 11 years and has already involved 540 artists, of different styles and of the most varied streams and ideas. Detail: without repeating any illustrator.
Every year Copag invites 54 new Brazilian illustrators and designers to participate in the El Cabriton project and create a totally exclusive playing card. The 2020 edition reached its goal in a crowdfunding campaign and will soon reach players across the country.
For the production of the deck, according to the project, the selection was made over six months and the invited artists had total freedom in their creations. The deck consists of 55 cards, of which 52 are traditional, two are wild cards and one is named after the artists.
The idea allows more than a game: it turns the experience into a collector's item, where each year a new set of cards are produced, with new arts, to play and decorate. Humans, animals, nature and enchanted beings appear as some themes covered in the illustrations, spread across all cards.

El Cabriton cards are printed by Copag, the largest manufacturer of decks in Brazil and with over 100 years of tradition. They were printed on an exclusive 270g coated card (Copag quality seal), with a pleasant slide and handling. The size is the conventional bridge size 57mm x 89mm.
