Betwinner grows in Brazil, now debuts participation in ESPN SportsCenter

Betwinner, one of the main bookmakers currently, is increasingly focusing on actions to expand the visibility of its brand in Brazil. The company closed a partnership with ESPN channels for promotion in the famous SportsCenter news show. Previously, it had already performed engagement activities for its Latin American audience, creating official profiles in Portuguese and Spanish on the main social networks and hiring Brazilian football star Roberto Carlos as ambassador.

Betwinner has just closed a partnership with ESPN to promote its brand on SportsCenter, the popular news daily show of the network about national and international sports. ESPN owns broadcast rights to Europe's major football leagues and other relevant live sporting events.

According to João Vaz, Director of Public Relations at Betwinner, “our desire is to bring entertainment to people through sport, and this partnership represents Betwinner very well, as SportsCenter dialogues with lovers of various sports. It is only the beginning of several initiatives and partnerships that we are planning for the Brazilian market.”

Under the agreement with ESPN, for four months Betwinner will be daily in SportsCenter with its QR Code, as a way of branding and for interaction with its customer base.

Vaz comments that some videos are already being prepared, too, to go online on its social networks, as a way to further publicize the brand. "It is a moment of happiness what is happening with Betwinner thanks to the support that we have received from our Brazilian customer base and it is for them that we are carrying out all the approaching actions," he said.

Gustavo Hiroshi, Country Manager at Betwinner in Brazil, explains that the brand has made an effort to meet the expectations of its customer base and expand knowledge in the country. “The action at ESPN is another reflection of our growth in Brazil, and that also it will be reflected in future hiring in the area of ​​human resources to work in the country,” he said.

“We are very pleased to close an agreement with ESPN channels. At that moment, our brand will be exposed in SportsCenter shows for a period of four months and is the result of an increase in our market share in Brazil,” added Hiroshi.

In addition, Betwinner promises to bring more interesting news to its users about its partnership with football star Roberto Carlos in the near future and new projects, with exclusive content for the Brazilian market.
