German Tennis Federation and Genius Sports sign exclusive data and streaming deal

The German Tennis Federation (DTB), the national governing body of the sport, has formed an exclusive data and streaming partnership with Genius Sports Group to enhance its profile and connect with tennis fans around the world. “The DTB is committed to enhancing the reach, visibility and profile of its events and we’re excited to be part of this global strategy,” said Jonny Katanchian, Head of Commercial Partnerships – EMEA at Genius Sports.

The DTB is one of the most prestigious organisations in world tennis with over 1.4 million playing members and is the governing body of the men and women’s Bundesliga and the ongoing German Tennis Championships.

As the trusted data and technology partner to over 500 sports organisations worldwide, including the English Premier League, National Basketball Association and German Football Association, Genius Sports Group has been granted the exclusive rights to capture and distribute live data and video content from DTB events for betting purposes.

This new partnership and Genius Sports Group’s global distribution network will provide a platform for the DTB to reach highly engaged fans from over 150 sportsbooks worldwide.

PlaySight, the immersive video, analytics and live streaming platform, will provide automated production, live streams and highlights across all DTB events covered under this partnership. This partnership with Genius Sports Group provides a new global distribution network for the DTB alongside their exclusive streaming and live broadcast for media partnership with the Tennis Channel.
